The team
An editorial team that knows Basel from the inside, checks on the ground and dates every source.

Corinne spent six years on the front desk of a hotel near the Badischer Bahnhof, answering the same questions about trams, zones and the border every day. She writes the pages she would have liked to hand to her guests. She checks every fare with the operator, never in a guidebook.

Livia grew up in Kleinbasel and started out as a gallery attendant in a museum on the Rhine before she began writing. She knows on which trade fair days tram line 2 is packed and which rooms are still empty in the morning. She only recommends what she has visited herself, ticket in hand.

Samuel spent eight years guiding groups through the Old Town, from Münsterplatz to the Rhine promenade. He builds his routes on foot, watch in hand, and cuts whatever does not fit into a real day. He would rather write that a visit is not worth the ticket than pad out a list.
